Sr. Pastor Kelvin D. Redmond
Pastor, communicator, humorist and missions-driven visionary, Kelvin D. Redmond is the founding pastor of Body of Christ Church.
In 1991, he set out to reach people in the Raleigh area who didn't go to church, and to let God's grace touch broken hearts and people searching for a real relationship with Jesus. The church began with fewer than ten people and has since reached thousands.
“If you can't get them in through the front doors of the church on Sunday, cut some back doors and side doors into the church throughout the week.”
A gifted speaker with a passion for God’s Word, he has preached in churches, conferences, colleges and seminaries across the United States and from Africa to Asia. He knows that life is hard, and God has given him a special ministry of grace and love for people who are hurting.
He holds degrees in pastoral studies and theology. Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, “PK,” as the church family calls him, is married to his best friend, Katina. They are surrounded by loving children and family.
